Who is Kagan Dunlap?
Originally born in Maine, Kagan spent the majority of his life in North Carolina before he joined the Military. He is has been passionate about health and wellness since 2007 and went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. He is equally as passionate about all things related to the 2nd Amendment and enjoys recreational shooting. Additionally he is an avid fan of the outdoors and plans to move back to the Mountains of North Carolina one day.
Kagan Dunlap's Military Service
Kagan Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2014 after joining the Delayed Entry Program out of Western North Carolina. He attended Recruit Training at MCRD Parris Island on May 12, 2014 and graduated August 8, 2014. He attended the School of Infantry East at Camp Geiger for two months and graduated after obtaining the 0352 Anti-Tank Missileman MOS and recieved Orders to Marine Corps Base Hawaii to 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines, THE Weapons Company. While in 2/3 he served in the Combined Anti Armor Teams (CAAT) and served as a Gunner, Driver, Vehicle Commander and Section Leader before being selected for the Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP). He did 3 Unit Deployment Program's with 2/3 to the PACOM AO before leaving to finish his degree. He commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in June of 2021 and attended the Basic Officer's Course in Quantico, graduating in April of 2022 where he received orders to attend the Supply Chain Management Officers Course (SCMOC). After graduating from SCMOC, he deployed to CENTCOM in direct support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR). He returned from his most recent deployment in 2023. He is still currently serving.
